Hi I want a game at home interactive simpsons .. and I illustrated all backgrounds different in different frames of a layer so wen i press a button that would change accordingly .. but I was confused how to make character. I want the character to react to what the user has .. so if I press a button I want it to react .. where do .. animations in a different stage or layer? then how can I get it to work with actionscriipt. I no how to do animation .. dunno jus as it thankyou so much for whoever can help!

Okay, I have an idea how you can do this. Take for example ... Homer Make a movieclip original Homer. Within this you have a selection of frames. In the framework that you have a housing movieclip animation of Homer reaction. So, when the user clicks the button "" appropriate movieclip inside movieclip original plays Homer, showing response. on (release) (_root.Homer.gotoAndPlay ( "frameNumber");) [it expects that "Homer" MC is the main timeline] Good luck!
