Wouldn't you say Marine Recon is safer than infrantry?
I mean for Recon you are trained so well that you are very rarely never seen and have to kill people in cold blood when they arent even firing at you to keep peace in Countries that aren't even on the news. Where as Infrantry is doing patrols driving around in combat zones getting shot at and praying not to get struck my an IED.

No man its not like that at all. In the Marines invasion of iraq the Marine Recons spear headed it all. There job was to go kilometers ahead of the main force to draw all the ambushes on them so that the main force could just stroll by. Marine Recons were practically just used as bait for the Iraqi army to fire at. Marine Recons go on more dangerous and risky missions than normal Marines.
Plus Marine Recons aren't nijas.
